You don't need to use Shishi to edit your Unit.bin for formation sprites, you use EVGRP. Celdia wrote a awesome tutorial on it

no Bin/img/iso are all fine, you just have to make sure its a clean iso that hasnt already been tampwered with, other then that, I honestly don't know what the issue would be.

Did you patch anything else to the vanilla image file?
Did you expand the image before patching?

If anyone does have an issue with this feel free to express your opinions and we discuss them.

Kagebunji, he's referring to the EVTCHR frames, since any of them one in EVTCHR would have to be fixed since they run off Vanilla EVTCHR's and the palette will show a messed up palette version of the original EVTCHR sprite.

Thanx Cheetah, looking at the script the scene should be pretty straight forward to make, I will probably do it this weekend, since I will have a bit of extra time.

Plus I already own a Besrodio sprite, so I won't even have to use EVTCHR \o/

NEW RULES

1. ALL Mods               -      If you have not read this thread by Asmo X, then do so now, this is a requirement, and you may be quizzed on it.

(almost joking, but pretty serious)

2. Vanilla Mods           -     You must have some sort of playable demo and this should really express something we haven't all seen done before,
I'm sorry, but chances are you aren't going to have a better vanilla mod then CCP, PW or FFT+. I agree that playing around in FFTP,
Tactext, Shishi and orgASM can be fun, but unless you are putting some serious work into it and willing to completely balance it all
on your own once it's all said and done, then it's really only a personal project.

(this is not to discourage people against vanilla mods, but perhaps you should join a community mod instead of taking on a mod that you really don't know if you'll finish)

3. Non-Vanilla Mods    -    This isn't something that was considered in the old rules. We shall address this now. When it comes to things like ASM, Worldmap,
Event or Event Condition work, even on a vanilla mod this can take much longer to even try to produce a demo and some people
may not even want to release a demo due to spoilers. For reasons such as this we have the following new rules:

  • You MUST make frequent updates on your progress.

  •
  • If you don't want to post videos due to spoilers, contact a Admin or Moderator.

  •
  • At the very least you MUST have some kind of pictures/videos of your progress with ASM, Events, Sprites or
whatever you are currently doing to make the game differ from vanilla.

  •
  • You must have some kind of story in mind, making a single event without any story to back it doesn't qualify you as a Progressing Patch,
it qualifies you as a new event editor, now pat yourself on the back an do it again.

  •

Everyone must follow these rules with very few exceptions (such as CoK, which is not a mod but is just too awesome to move).
If you believe you have such an exception contact myself or another Admin or Moderator.

I know this may seem sudden to some of you.

If anyone does have an issue with this feel free to express your opinions and we discuss them.
As many of you already know, I'm pretty easy to talk to and get along with.

(Randomly checks on FFH)

Elric: Your event edits have been looking amazing and from your Pokemon event it even looks like you are implementing some choice conditionals. If you want to put this even together that would be great. The last version of the event script is good to go, and there will likely only be some small text edits done in the future.

I am by no means ready to start putting much of my time into this project. But it would be great to see more work getting done slowly and building interest in the project.

I thank you for the compliment Cheetah  Tho i must thank Pride for making the conditions, I just made the events for them, but yea it turned out pretty well.
I will definitely take up the challenge of doing this first event for this mod :) It is something that has interested me for some time now.

Have not posted in a few days, most of our work is done on IRC, thru PM's or elsewhere, since we don't want to spoil things,
this thread is now mostly just to inform others about the mod, and so you can still see videos and see whats being updated.
Once chapter 1 comes out we will have our own forum section, which will have a lot more info and threads for bug reports and
other random praise

In the last week:

  • 2 more events are done

  • 4 more sprites and 2 ports are done

  • 1 more EVTCHR is done

  • Mike Mitchi joined the team and has done some awesome things that all of you will love (he joined more then a week ago, but oh well)

  • Events are all completely setup in the event conditions spreadsheet, and the Attack.out GUI (thanks to Pride and his being patient with teaching me things, which made it possible for me to insert the last 5 events in the correct order)

  • Not much else left to do, still waiting on Pride to make a couple more ASM's, but I know he is rather busy as of late. So if anyone else (an ASMer obviously) would like to lend a hand on
a few of them to take some of the weight off his back, it would be appreciated. Just send me a PM on here or on IRC

I will continue to keep everyone updated as always, and we still welcome all questions/suggestions/thoughts.
