Than you either
1) have a bad/incompatible rom file
2) have an issue with the patcher program. There should be a better one of these to use instead of Multipatch... Did the MacOS Version of PPF-O-Matic 3 not work for you for some reason? https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/355/

can you run WINE and just patch it with PPF-o-Matic that way? There are also ppf patching programs for phones, at least for androids. I know nothing about macs/apple

It's worth noting that I have not tested this in game. I tried my best to have the hands located in the same spot as other vanilla sprites, but I'm not sure if weapons will be in the exact right spot. Maybe one day I'll get around to that.

I'm modding a PSX .iso. I saved several sprite sheets off of FFhacktics, but when I view them on my PC and try to screenshot them so I can rotate them and use them, they look like negatives. Thats normal, shishi should clean it up on import for the port. You can use palette editor as well, load the sprite in there, click the first color on the sheet and itll fix the port. Then just save it

Would seem a bit odd since it would imply that you are stabbing straight through the first unit...

That meaning said, it is a thing in at least 1 TRPG ive played... Maybe Vandal~Hearts or Saiyuki

Hey man. Most graphic stuff doesnt require anything aside from shishi these days, as glain added support for EVTCHR frames, Effects and Unit/WLDFACE.bin within shishi. So youd want the latest FFTP from the FFTP thread for pretty much anything to do with graphics or balance.

For events youll need the wiki and notepad at a minimum as well as the compiler/decompiler. The latter are both included in EVSP 2.0 and 2.1 so either works there.

For worldmap and conditions there is a sheet that isnt yet public but if you are okay with hex code then the old aheets for worldmap and attack.out conditions are still fine and if you know what you are doing, can be done faster that way anyway.

For scenarios and event order we have 2 different attack.out editors. Both work fine but the newest is Attack.out editor special awesome by Raven.

Events are something you learn over time. Use the wiki for the instructions or EVSP. But its not an exact science, things can be done many different ways. It just takes time and practice, like learning any language

Hey buddy, we gotta get ya onto Discord mang. Anyway, this is likely due to the sizes of the effects. We also have an alexander and phoenix summon for Jot5 that i had to make new files for. However its been like 5 years since i set that up and cant recall whether it was tested or not.

Unfortunately i think there is like maybe 2 people who have used that tool (both of us included, lol)

Its not Izlude, he very much dies and takes his final breath in vanilla FFT

No idea, even if he changed the SCUS it should still work fine with saving. Sounds more like an emulator issue. Have you tried another emulator to verify it does save? I know nothing of PCSXR except for on my raspberry pi.

so no more secret hunt?

Its been changed to Scavenge. Which allows you to use it on dead monsters to get ingredients for synthing.
