Unfortunately i have to announce that this mod is on indefinite hold for the time being, as I'm no longer really a part of this community and dont have enough ego to assume I can complete this alone.

Also, no, absolutely not. If I wanted it to be called War of the Lions, that is what I would have called it. War of the Lions has the absolute most dogshit translation of any game I've ever played. So the mod gets a dumb name to go with a dumb translation.

It may seem strange to make Altima an ally, but I really wanted a character with that teleport style, not to mention that her sprite is very well made and worth being used for good (even if it's your own benefit). Obviously I will adjust it so that it doesn't completely break the game, like changing Teleport 2 to Teleport 1, and base status.
I'm not creating a complete MOD because I still haven't learned to use the event editing tools and others, so I'm modifying small things just for my own use, until I learn to create a mod worthy of being shown here. UWEntries is no longer needed as the functionality was eventually built into FFTP

I've beaten it several times now, actually.  Besides how can I expect to know the answer when you are unable or unwilling to answer it as the creator? 



The issue is that you literally havent even taken time to explore if you dont know the answer. No one else needed this said, and its been kept OFF the forums for a reason...

They are 100% there. You arent looking in the right jobs, or you didnt purchase them for the same units you are checked for them on.

It is literally never the creators job to provide this info. That is why strategy guides are made by 3rd parties. To expect that from something that is more of a game extention than a mod, is not something i can understand.

Also, if you've done anything like trying to combine mods/hacks without knowing exactly what you're doing, that would likely cause issues as well, so hopefully you haven't done that and are just playing vanilla or a mod directly from the forums.
pSX 1.13, or PSXfin. No one is gon a find it via PSX. lol

No. The 2nd post here literally says youll find out when you beat the game. If youve done so and still dont know then you need to check the end of the game again..

Im having trouble believing you beat the game if you don't know the answer tbh. There is only so many jobs in the menu to check. Just use process of elimination.

1) Its not a bug, its a vram limitation so, no, you can only have 9 unique sprites on screen (alt palettes are fine)

2) You wont find a lot of basic tutorials like you are requesting as most of those things are covered in larger tutorials like eventing. Outside of that there is discord to ask questions. But all the info you are looking for is definitely on the site, since thats how I and many others learned it. Not having experience seems to be something that people think shouls be a stopping point until someone helps, but its not. If you really want this, your gonna need to do some legwork as well.

OBS) Again, event editing tutorial.


Definitely recommend looking through the tutorial section and joining discord because this topic is way too broad, since it seems like you want a tutorial on how to mod the game, in full, and thats just not a thing.

There are several guides on the site for this. Look in the pinned index threads here and in the tutorials section as well.

Though I will add that ePSXe is just about the worst emulator you can possibly use for playing FFT mods. Or PS1 games in general.

The movies would have no effect. When i do bugtesting I use them as well.

I have no intention of making any more updates to this patch outside of 1 event update

The roster space in TLW is already as big as it's ever going to be, unless Glain expands the Bench hack.

The roster itself was already increased to 20 for TLW, as well as including the bench hack which gives room for 10 more units.

There are 26 unit.bin slots for the game to have unique sprites in the roster screen, plus monsters and generics. Minus 2 for the additional Ramzas, thats 24 unique units that can potentially have in Recruits, with 6 additional slots. I doubt youll ever have more than that.

If there's a more baby-steps guide to building a PPF from the resources (not the main post with the resources zip file, tried that), please point me to it.

Although even if I can't run this in Adrenaline, it's probably better in RetroArch as you have native fast-forward controls (if you like that sort of thing), and can extend the display to cover the whole Vita screen - and it looks fantastic:

I guess you also avoid any potential POPSLoader issues. FYI, Vita uses a custom POPSLoader for technical reasons.

Elric thanks for all the work with this mod, which seems to have everything. Looking forward to finally playing FFT again after 20 years. Get yourself a Vita, you won't regret it!

Glad you got it sorted. To build without it you'd just use the resources from the resources thread and on the last step when patching the ASMs, youd just not tick the box for that specific ASM hack.
