Here is a couple more edited effects.  The butterfly was my best attempt to copy the work of such an effect on discord that hadn't been shared (as best I know).  The wildshape spell is one that I combine with the disappear animation tabs to make a transforming effect.

On the 1.9 update, there's a bit of an issue with the Reis quest.  When you finish the final fight where you have to protect Ries, the game will glitch out and play the Orbonne Monastery intro with Simon/Alma.  After the scene it puts Ramza, Beowulf, and Reis in a fight by themselves as Guests for eternity.  If you saved and reload the save before that, it automatically puts you in the Nelveske Temple fight with no warning.  If you manage to clear the fight, it puts you back out on top of Goland, but it leaves Goland as an active event location that will repeat the Beowulf side quest if you walk over the dot again.

I could perhaps still apply an edit or two, but I feel satisfied with "phantom beast" or esper part deux.  The main palette is based off of Maduin from final fantasy 6, who inspired a couple of design decisions with this sprite.  A couple of the other palettes seem pretty cool and are more eye popping for sure.  The dead poses are magicite and pretty much a straight up copy from ff6.  Could perhaps use a little change.

OK, I see. But when I patched it successfully, I found the title screen is not your posted and I dont know why. I really really like this one which is your posted. It's beautiful and artful. :|

This isn't something that's been tackled by anyone unfortunately! Unique units have always maintained their appearance, and you would need a fairly in depth ASM hack for something like this, and more Unit and Wldface space if you wanted unique units to have their own versions of each generic sprite

Hello Marcci thank you for trying out the mod to answer your question you only need to patch this with a Vanilla version of FFT and that's it you don't need to do anything else

Hello,

I am wondering if it is possible to remap sprites for special units upon changing jobs and if there is any tutorial as I can't seem to find one in the forums.

For example,

Agrias has her own sprite (unit and portrait). If I change her job to archer, her sprite would switch to the generic archer sprite or any other assigned sprite, other than Agrias's sprite. If I switch jobs from archer to knight, the sprite appearance would change and so on.

I've looked into UWEntries (https://ffhacktics.com/smf/index.php?topic=7833.0), but that only seems to replace the appearance of the sprite while maintaining that certain sprite upon changing jobs.

Any help is much appreciated!

Edit: Found a work around by setting gender restrictions for jobs. However, please reply if what I asked is possible!
