Sorry if these questions have been asked before but I could not find any definitive information searching the forums or doing my own search outside of the site. I have 2 questions that I'm hoping to gain clarification on when hacking/modding FF Tactics A2.

1. I'm attempting to add an additional availability slot when fielding units, essentially increasing how many units the player can filed by +1. Is this a possibility? I haven't seen it in any hack that I've played, nor can I find any bit of information about it in the forum. If it is possible what hacking/modding tools would one need to do it? Additionally where would one find that data?

2. How can one change the starting races/classes of the initial team upon a new game? For example if I wanted to change the non-unique character Hume to a Seeq or Gria. I've seen this done in one or more hack's, so I know it's possible, but what tool do I need and/or what module or data list do I need to look at in order to do so?

Reis' name ID does not change when she transform during her recruitment events
(previously reported in the wrong topic)

I also added the spritesheet SaveAddress in her initial recruit event for good measure.

Add these commands after TransformUnit.

Human -> Dragon (initial recruitment event)

SaveAddress(x00,x015F,x01,002)
SaveAddress(x00,x0161,x01,001)



Dragon -> Human (Nelveska Temple event)

When entering Of Vagrants equipped with a Chantage, if the character wearing it gets killed, they never revive or crystalize. Their CT will continue to charge and reset instead of getting back up and no timer is ever visible.

I'm fairly sure that the Guarded Temple is bugged.

On the YouTube video below of that Rendezvous on WotL, after you kill the bot twice he turns into chest.

As it is right now you only defeat it if you kill both at the same time for a second time.

Apologies for the double post if not allowed. Made new version 2021-09-24.

I removed 2021-09-07 for download from OP as it's very similar to 2021-09-24 but without various improvements. I kept 2021-06-11 in OP since it's very different and incompatible with 2021-09-24.

Update 2021-09-24: Same as 2021-09-07 with some changes on the skills and skillsets, plus with strong increase in monster stats.
Increased the cost of skills inflicting the following statuses compared to previous version: slow [significantly], poison [massively], quicken.
Decreased the cost of skills inflicting the following statuses compared to previous version: immobilise, sleep, disable.
Increased the cost of skills with demi effect.
Changed various skills and skillsets to adjust around these changes.
Decreased the cost of white wind.
Monster defense increased significantly.
Various monsters had their speed increased.
Other monster stats increased and modified.
The changes in this versions make it more difficult to fight monsters in late game. To kill monsters either defense reduction is required, or use of poison/demi, however either these effects are costly.
Quicken cost was increased to avoid a late game exploit where two moogle gadgeteers or jugglers with time magic were able to cast it on each other indefinitely, for infinite turns (and therefore infinite MP).
Slow was too easy to consistently rely on at cost 0.

Amazing man!!!

So guys find a solution to increase the roster from 16 to 20 AND added Glain hack for bench units?? Awesome!
I'll wait a few more days to see more about documentation and New Game+.

In the meantime is it possible to give some advertising to this mod on my FB profile by adding a link to this page?

Open the ISO with FFTPatcher and you will see the info of the game, including Poaching, it's not that hard. There are 90% drop items and 10% drop items for every monster.
