I would say to check out the pinned topic of FFTA mods. Anarchy is probably a pretty good choice with removing all Laws, given how little the Laws actually really add to the game in FFTA.

So I haven't played FFTA since it released. I recently picked up a RG351v and would like to play again, although this time, with a mod! Is there any mod that doesn't mess with the main story, but is generally agreed to be an improvement on the main game? A lot of the mods I am looking at get into detail about the changes, but I can't remember much about the game systems to really understand what exactly will be different.

Even if the suggestions was for someone who never played FFTA, I'd like some help on deciding  :D

Sorry if this post is annoying. New to the community and can't wait to play FFT for the first time after this FFTA playthrough.

Tbh. If its only visual, I wouldnt expect this to be fixed anytime soon

There are still visual bugs with Barrage and Two Swords. Sometimes the second animation, especially when the target gets killed by the first one, changes the weapon animation.

I had a Javelin Barrage change to Katana attacks, and Knight Swords with a Chaos Blade and a Ragnarok did the same katana animation as well on the second hit.

I have a minor bug where I learned all the skills on the Thief tree, but I didn't get a star for unlocking all the abilities.

Yeah, I have to agree with Xifanie. The {SP} character is already half the width of the space character - it isn't pixel width that's the issue when it comes to Tactext or event space.

I tried using it to block the swordskill formulas (2D, 2E, 2F, and 30) and it's working perfectly... Too perfectly in fact.  It appears to block the formulas 100% of the time, regardless of brave.  Can we get a version that works Brave% of the time like reaction abilities normally do?

Added the Reis fixes to the earlier comment about her sprite bug when she's first recruited as a dragon.

Reis' name ID does not change when she transform during her recruitment events

I also added the spritesheet SaveAddress in her initial recruit event for good measure.

Assuming Variable 0x0070 holds the unit address

Human -> Dragon (initial recruitment event), 0x0070 = Battle Unit Address

Oh wow, huh. You're welcome!

I wouldn't get too excited about fitting a lot more text though. You can almost always just create new pages (with enough {Newline}s) and then there's the compression and DTE that need to be taken into account with Tactext. Saving 1px per space is ultimately insignificant in your ability to add more text, I'm afraid.
