Looks very good! But could you make it look more friendly? Now she look like she would like to kill someone :D

I think the headband should be a little bigger too. The overall shape of the hair looks a bit off, but I don't know how exactly.

Headband will be removed Cheetah, it isn't on sprite, so if it were on portrait, it would be strange.

Nice work MiKe. This might be tough to understand, but hopefully it'll make sense in some fashion: you should replace the bottom most pixel on each "strand" of hair to a slightly lighter shade (as in the second darkest green) on the hair that sticks out to our left. This will make that dark green appear to blend with the light brown background. While we're on the subjects of green hair, I personally think you should take the green from the green palette of the Male Ninja, so you know it'll blend nicely. You could also drop the lightest green to gain a white for the eyes, but that's not 100% necessary. Maybe you could swap out with some friendlier eyes and/or smile? I dunno.  Also shade a bit more on the right part of her neck, so it blends into the black.

This sounds like a lot to do, but it takes a minute and polishes the portrait nicely. Great portrait MiKe--done quickly and efficiently.

Thanks. :P
I'll recolor the hair boundary pixels. The hair kinda looks odd bec. the hair and the face have different angle origins. Yes, I should also drop the lightest green to add white (or just use that green for the eyes).

Then, I'll remove the headband. Next, make her more friendly. Also, borrow fft green shades:P
Laters~

EDIT: here:
Good luck!

Yeah they did. I wonder if this was something that should have been picked up in the critique or if it just looks that way in game. Either way, you can see how the palette goes from very light to very dark immediately. Doesn't look so hot.
