Rain4h proven Man! **UPDATE! Pages of Rain4h Confession*

Started by Archael, May 08, 2009, 12:10:17 pm

Archael

After 2 or 3 big topics of people back and forth accusing each other of White Knighting / Dark Knighting Rain4h, someone finally posted pics of another myspace user (a mother and her baby) who was the exact same person that Rain4h distributed pics of claiming it was her in her cancer bed.

Rain4h is mans.

Rain4h does not have cancer. The girl in the pic doesn't have cancer. There is no cancer.

*UPDATE*

QuoteRain6152 (tc) | Posted 5/8/2009 12:56:16 AM | message detail | filter | quote | #001
Alright, I need to tell everyone the truth. This has gotten way out of hand, and taking up too much space here on CE. Yes, I'm a male and I always have been. I do not have cancer either. But I would like to tell everyone why I did this and why I came up with it. For a short answer, you can call it character development. I have always been drawn to seeking out how people deal with certain situations and how they treat different kinds of people. So I created this gimmick to see how people will deal with a well known user on a popular board deal with an attractive girl who has cancer. The laid back, rock chick next door. I feed on other people's reactions and feelings like a vampire I guess, I'm just drawn to see how others deal with situations like I said. Why do I do this you may ask, I did it this time for a story that I'm writing. I used a lot of you on here to help fuel this story, not your stories per say, but your emotions.

From the great people on this board that are nice and help other people, to that people who are don't care who they offend because they hide behind a S/N on here. I have helped many people on here, and I have pushed them the wrong way as well on purpose. You see, I don't only pay attention to what people do and talk with "Terra" about, but how they run and deal with there own real life. I will not give out names, but I will give a few examples of what I have seen. I have pushed for a guy to finally ask out that girl he liked a lot, but when they where in a relationship, I have him bad advice on purpose to see what kind of reaction he would get when it didn't work out. I got a person to stab a friend in the back, and give me lewd pictures of his friend, just to see if he would betray his friend. He did, because he liked "Terra". There are many other things like that I have seen and done over the year I have been "Terra", that might sound bad, but I have done good things as well.

I have helped someone get back in touch with his father that he had not spoken to for three years, I have helped someone find a job and gave that person info on how to come to be good at it. I have talked three people from killing themselves (They might now have been going to, I have seen people tend to do things like that to get attention.) I have stayed up late at night to just talk to someone who needed someone there to talk to. There have been other things that have gone by, but talking about the good and the bad things I have done would take way too much time.

So am I a bad person for doing this? I don't think so myself, but I think I may be a little biased. Yes, I admit that I used a lot of you for personal gain, to glance into your personally life just to help me get a better hold on people. That is what I do, I'm a writer and I go out in the field and get to know people. I will go to a bar, and talk with complete strangers and get to know them that way. I will hid in shadows of a corner of the same bar and just watch and see what people do. It is amazing what you can find out if you just keep your ears and eyes open. If there are any writers on here that need a little bit more depth on the human mind and reactions, I would suggest you do this as well. I dated a girl once, who was not very attractive that liked me a lot. I had her change herself a bit, but always gave her an option. She gave up some of her friends, she turned her back on some of her family and changed as a person. I didn't ask her to do any of that myself, I just lead her in that direction to see if she would fallow on her own. She did, and I gained some knowledge from that.

People's lives are like a game of chess to me in a way. I'm a playing the game and setting up pawns to place where I want them. Sometimes I will try my best to win, sometime I will throw the game and lose on purpose. I guess that sounds a bit harsh, to play some people like that, but it is what I do. I'm a very nice person, even though it might not sound like it now. I'm a nice person, because I have to be a nice person to do this. I have always had a gift for getting people to open up to me, and getting them to like me a lot. It is all about listening to acting on what you know. You have to know when to push that person, or when to know how to keep in going at a slow place.

So no, I'm not a woman and I don't have cancer. But to be honest, that is the only thing I have ever lied about on here. I'm still me and I will always be me. Sure after this I bet no one will look at me the same way anymore, but I will like to thank all the people that I have got to know personally on here for letting me into your head and thoughts and opening up your heart to me. I'm not going to go away from CE, I like this place. I don't need to lie and be someone else on here to see how some of you people act to others. I learn everyday from everyone on here, and it just fuels my books that much better.

So, that is the truth about me. There it is out in the open now. Terra's life was sure fun, I wonder what I will do now. I think it is good that I got called out by some guy on here that has nothing else to do but e-stalk someone. Yeah yeah, I'm sure that is what a lot of you think of me right now, but I'm not like that. I have a great life, I don't sit around all day on the computer. Like I said before, I'm a people person. I'm always out on the town or with a group of people. I have been ridding the Max a lot recently in Down Town Portland, that is a good place to get to know people. Water front is a great place as well. I wonder what I'm going to do next, but it won't be here. This gig is over with, that is why I said I was happy that I got called out before. It was running kind of dry to be honest.

To all my e-friends that I have spoke with over this past year, thank you. To think too badly of me please, you know that I'm a good person when it is all said and done.

Personal note: Yeah Rain4h was my friend on youtube on and off for the last year or so, but all we ever did was talk on AIM and he commented on my Youtube vids. I don't even mind the part about lying about being a girl, I have a gf and I never was interested in e-anything with anyone. It's the part about the cancer that bothers me. I made a video for Rain4h because I felt bad that someone had to go through that. Turns out it was just an "experiment" (BS?) to see how people would react. If you tell people a sob story about cancer and dying soon, how else WOULD they react? Predictable experiment was predictable!

I want to say that Rain4h fooled a lot of people, for what reason or gain I do not know, because the information he gathered doing this is something anyone can tell you. But lying over the internet is something that happens so often that I don't even know why we took this one so seriously.

I am kinda glad, because to be honest Rain4h always gave me a strange vibe, like something was off. Now I kinda know why.

this wasn't just any ordinary troll

a troll doesn't care enough to put up a facade this big for over a year

and the purpose wasn't just for the lulz, either

purpose means nothing.  There's still feigned ignorance, knowledgable deceit, and a decent chunk of Narcissism.

I must disagree. You know this boy was cracking up everytime someone called him a "her". He probably thought "Aw, man! These guys are idiots! Don't they know not to trust anything you hear or see on the internet?" People like that seem to really only enjoy the "feeling" of being better then everyone else, because "these people are so idiotic..."

Let's take Magitek as an example. When he came back as Seraphim he reveled in the fact we were unable to guess who he was. Regardless of what the "claim" is the basic "Id" principle would still state that this was done with the intent of fooling others. To stand on a sort of high ground. This is why I have no respect for this sort! They make trying to establish a persona on the internet that much more difficult and obviously makes building bonds of trust more difficult. I am sorry Voldemort, though you were always very bright about this, and never allowed yourself to get too emotionally tangled, though you did show a bit of tender side on that video. That just makes being a man more difficult... when can we show that side without any true event neccessary? Alas though, both men and women need to be hard skinned here, or else they are eaten alive by all the ever present wolves in every corner of the internet.

I apologize for the rant, I just wanted to voice my opinion on the matter.

but more on the topic I'd normally laugh at someone pulling this stunt but the depth of it probably means psychological issues that need professional help, so I'm back to resigned pity.

yes

I'm just saying it wasn't just any ordinary troll

this one was bigger than normal, and had other motives BESIDES for the lulz

I am not saying purpose means anything, I am just saying Rain4h had it

Did you read the text on the screenshots?

Rain4h openly admitted to wanting to use all of this to gather writing material

what I'm saying is that the depth that this guy took his fake relationships with people wasn't JUST "for the lulz"

"the lulz" died out a LONG time ago, this has been going on for 1 yr +, and alot of the relationships rain4h built were boring and not particularly interesting, even the allure of fooling someone gets old when you're visiting the same message board for over a year

if it was just "for the lulz", little lulz were had for a troll that went on for 1 yr +

which leads me to believe that there was something else

in the screenshot, you can see Rain4h says "This was JUST the situation of a girl with cancer"

so I'm pretty sure Rain4h has more characters out there

Asmo thinks there is no project and no purpose, which is also entirely possible, though

@phil

remember, rain4h didn't try to piss off the people she met (like a troll would have done)

instead, she tried to befriend them and form relationships with them

so I'm not sure if this is trolling so much as just faking identity and situations

rain4h didn't reveal this to piss anyone off, he was uncovered

QuoteI am sorry Voldemort, though you were always very bright about this, and never allowed yourself to get too emotionally tangled, though you did show a bit of tender side on that video.

yeah, when someone I talk to (even over the net) tells me they are dying of cancer, I sympathize with them

nothing wrong with that IMO, now that I know it was all fake I can just,uh.. delete the video? no harm done man

QuoteThat just makes being a man more difficult... when can we show that side without any true event neccessary?

I don't think me being a man had anything to do with this

I am sure males and females alike were fooled by this over the internet

I am a man and I will continue to sympathize with those I feel compassion for, and rain4h lying about her story isn't going to change that

if one of you gets hit by a car I will probably make a video about it too, and if you turn out to be lying, then I'll take back what I said and spread the truth like I am doing in this thread

but you can't just not show who you are just for fear that people might lie to you

that's weak

QuoteAlas though, both men and women need to be hard skinned here, or else they are eaten alive by all the ever present wolves in every corner of the internet.

well, no harm came to the people who trusted or believed rain4h's story... so it makes everything all the more pointless, you know?

Precisely Voldemort, that's what I'm referring to. A "writer" right, sure... look at how he writes though, tone normally cannot be told through text unless purposely inferred and here I feel that what is inferred is an arrogance. Look at how he defends the White Knights (mainly because they were defending him...)

His mission statement is obviously false, to get "information" to "see what it is like" is the Oldest trick in the book when it comes to false internet personas, it's really an amateurish tactic which really, to me at least, breaks down the whole of the matter. It's a false play, with the only purpose in mind being to fool and decieve, and was he the one to break it? No, I think if I recall... accusations were brought up prior to this, TRC was the first to bring it to light to my very limited knowledge of the situation. This would have went on for as long as that crazed fool would have desired, which probably would have been indefinitely.

Look at his view point as he displays it... "Oh, I love FFT, just I'm not real, just like all of you", (paraphrased of course) is it so wrong to Be Yourself on the internet? Heaven forbid we trust those we work with...

nothing wrong with being yourself on the internet, IMO

of course deception was an important factor here, but it wasn't just any ordinary troll

I don't think Rain4h wanted to make anyone angry, and trust me, with all the info he had on people, he had MANY chances to anger people

although there is a point against this, when Rain4h admits to leading others down a "wrong" path

I don't know what to think right now.. I'm not angry, just kinda curious

I don't get why you would try and back yourself up with a definition of trolling that doesnt apply here, and people got angry because the fake girl with cancer on the internet didn't have cancer and wasn't a girl. If the guy was a real troll he would have come out himself and reveled in everyone's fury. Instead everyone else found out and he tried to backpedal. It was a desperate attempt to be important. We get it dude. You don't like trolls. This isn't a relevant topic for that discussion though.
