I now present thee, the grand Final Fantasy Hacktics history:

4 years ago I had a project to hack Final Fantasy Tactics, to just hack it for fun. At that time I was at CoN (Caves of Narshe), a bunch of guys that thinks they're the "more intelligent FF gamers". Anyway the administrator blocked my FFT hacking topic because I was requesting for help on game hacking or some crap like that. By the way there had been a ongoing FFVI hacking topic for months.

After a few months roaming in CoN and helping FFT newbs, criticizing art, and other stuff as well, I noticed the mods were just plain jerks, and while quitting, I noticed most members were as well. I got a few thanks for the help I provided at least.
The admin was happy that I was leaving because he didn't like the fact that I wasn't shocked that my friend exploited failures of his forum and spammed a few posts of junk. Dude, seriously would have getting mad been any better?

I already started to roam on GameFaqs before quitting CoN and I found a document highly interesting, namely the GS handbook.

This is when I began the real hax0ring. At first I worked a lot on my excel workbooks, and because of this I have developed MAD excel skills. Then I thought, what the heck I'll make it public. Philsov gave it a try and a lot of people were interested in his 1.1 & 1.2 patches and that's when Karsten poped up on GF to offer a host.

So I built a suckass html site... it wasn't very lively, so I needed another host for a forum, that's when I made a byethost account (they suck btw). I started working on the new PHP site with that host. I always yelled how sucky byethost was and Dakitty came to save the day offering a fantopolis subdomain.

We only lasted a few months on fantopolis it was great and pretty fast too. After that I made our members vote for our community's name and "Final Fantasy Hacktics" came out pretty popular.

For a whole month during the summer I searched and searched again for a host suitable for FFH. I finally found it and that host was iipanel. No one expected it (I seriously don't know why) but I bought the domain www.ffhacktics.com.

Today you can enjoy fast & and awesome FFH browsing. We are always growing bigger and bigger, and we will soon rule Earth! Giahahahahahaha!

I still need some way for people to donate to FFH to cover hosting costs. ;o

and thank god for FFH. im really not a big gamer but i absolutely love certain ones like breath of fire 3 and fft and things like that. they really dont make em like they used to.

I used to do sprites for ff4 and ff6 but i had always wanted to do FFT because i had access to the files and i really enjoy the battle system.

Actually, I did notice this site has quick posting and recieving of posts. Nice.
