How about a prequel?  Balbanes and Orlandu during the 50 Years War?  Wait, this should be in complaint form.

Why the hell is there no prequel to FFT:WotL?  Why can't I play as Balbanes and Orlandu as they grew up during the war?

I didn't say it was going suck but if Square doesn't do it it isn't technicallly a FF game but good luck to you. the best I could do story wise is sprite comics.
