I see what you mean about the Light shade on the boots. That yellow trim in the middle is obfuscated by the white piece.. I'll see what I can do.
I'm going to the Scorpions concert!! well I don't have a ticket but it's outside so I'll hear it loud and clear for free haha.
If there's one great hair metal band they are it.

You are welcome Lijj. I like Scorpions too, but Metallica, Megadeth and Frontside are still the best for me. Ofcourse nothing beats Queen, or U2, but that is a different story.

Oh shit Lijj that sprite awesome! Is that scorpions concert the one near Cincinnati, I heard my mom say something about it last night. Did you get there new album?

It was in South Washington. We got tickets for cheap, I was surprised. There were hundreds of people without tickets asking around... we were lucky.. ended up getting in with 30 minutes.
Damn some drunk guy gave me the new album last night but I left it in my friend's car. Haven't heard it yet.

Finally back to work on this Generic Female Knight.


Hope to get through the rest much faster, I have about half of the critical (etc.) frames and the fighting ones left. I also need a portrait; if any one feels up to it, hesitate not!

Keep working Lijj, its looking good so far.

Constructive crits: Backwalking frames need improvement, the hair animation looks quite odd atm. In the backwalking frames the skirt moves with the legs, which it should, but the skirt on the forward walking frames looks completely still (also the characters right leg on the front walking frames seems to be popping out at the knee because the skirt isnt following). Hopefully you are still improving the cape on the backwalking frames, they need quite a lot of work in animation and shading (also the cape has a different animation to the front walking frames). The critical forward frame looks odd imo, unless you purposely made both feet could be seen instead of a knee?

Aside from that, it looks very promising, just be careful of the shading on the boots, it seems to jump from dark to light instantly. :)

Damn cape's still not right but IDK thought I'd post anyway just to show some progress. I also wonder if I should lighten the
 boots all by the next shade up. I think I will do that next time I work on it but it's late now..
I think the hair's at least going the right direction now as to not look so odd.. I just need to lessen the movement on the back view(I think :roll: )

So the contrast problem is fixed on the boots but should I lighten them?

I see what you are saying Zozma. The further away pigtail is larger than the close one. If you look closely that isn't the case, but on first glance it looks that way.

Ah! I see.. It's that they're actually the same when  the further away one should be slightly smaller.
thx guys. Sadly I really am leaving tonight to go work out in the country; I was actually supposed to leave 3 days ago but due to the agricultural nature ( harvesting of pedicularis) it was prorogued(nature is in charge).. can't wait to get back to my favorite on-line community. Farewell for now friends.

There seems to be too much motion on the rear frames. I'm not a huge fan of pigtails, to be perfectly honest, but this is a damn nice sprite. Come back soon.

I did come back soon eh? I only made about 400 bucks. I could vanish at any time for more work.. For now I'll work on her and fix that motion that's overdone.
