This is 1, based on a 'soldier' from ffta.

This one, i am really interested to do, a dragoon aegyl.

A warrior type sprite.

I'd also like to do this one, probably wont be as difficult as others, different hair colour, and the band is same colour as pants.

And yes, as mav said, these are really good references. But sometimes they arent also (eg. shadings are off sometimes)
There ya go Kage ;).

LD was right about revenant wings sprites, the shadings are pretty well done, they just put too many colours into the sprites and dont have that depth of shading as they could have.

@mav Done all walking/flying frames. Dead poses, damage poses. Been working on poses for standing still but they look odd... especially the side view. Anyway ill post that soon. Havent been doing much, been busy.

Nice :)

I will mess with this sprite when you finish it, it looks great. Maybe I will try to do some other featherfolks.

That Dragoon one looks really tough, but I think most of these are doable. And it sounds like you've made a lot of progress on Llyud--keep on trucking.

Little update:

@Kagebunji. Sounds good. I want to tackle the dragoon though ;)

The legs don't look like they're completely separated--maybe you could use that dark shade to differentiate 'em? The wings look a little too angular as well, but I don't know how easy that'd be to fix...

You're making great progress though. Keep it up.

The wings look like triangles, the way each pixel lines up at a nearly perfect angle. Don't worry about it though, I'm nitpicking like crazy. Unlike the other views, forward-facing frames are seen the least, so they tend not to look as perfect as the others.

Ok heres a little update:
They are pretty much done, i gave the back diagonal part of the hair more 'character'. The side view isnt done, especially the wings, they dont match the other views. Just comment on the body mainly.

The main body looks good overall, just be careful with the shadows; the pants and hair have some negligible pillow shading. I also think you should try using your dark gray shade (from the eyes and eyebrows) on the back and front-facing views. On the back view you could use it at the bottom of the wings, where the shadow of those wings would be falling on his back. You could use it on the pants on the front view too, as I mentioned a bit earlier.

Oh Jesus. Congrats Twinees. It took some time, but sure is worth it. Now submit him! One question, what type of sprite is this?

...it looks like a cherub boxer.

Hey, it's done! Congratulations, Twinees. I just hope the palette ain't too saturated, but if it is, a quick touch up won't take but five minutes. Again, congratulations, and great job.

Let's see this get tested out in-game.

LastingDawn

Fantastic! Glad to see you kept up this sprite. Llyud is really one of the more memorable characters in RW.
"Moment's anger can revert to joy,
sadness can be turned to delight.
A nation destroyed cannot be restored,
the dead brought back to life."

Beta & Gretchen Forever!!!!

Very interesting! I'd like to see how this works in game; looks like it works.

tyvm all. took me a while like Kage mentioned. I continuously stopped and started this sprite when i had free time.
I may do some more aegyl now, if people concur with the idea.

@mav   yes the palette may need an update, especially skin tones.

@LD   glad you are happy.

@DMW   It took a while to get the wings correct for the flying animations

I'm pretty sure it looks fine in game, some animations look odd because the arms overlap the wings (back views). Thank mav for the portrait too.

@Kagebunji   I'll submit it soon, depends if people want palette changed, but i want to keep the colours similar to Llyud in RW.
