Nerfing quickening was a mistake.

Removing silence was a mistake!
^.^ Thanks for the offer but I'm pretty sure that I can't accept donations. I do appreciate the enthusiasm though! Since my summer is drawing to a close I will be releasing the extended demo in a week or two, it (unfortunately) will only have a few more scenes and battles but they are very important plotwise! There will also be a few more jobs and items to mess around with, so that should be cool :P

And Elric's reference to the rules was about that mod specifically 8D Please go read the rule regarding that mod.

Ooh, I like the new horn attack! Welcome back! Looking forward to more Lucavi goodness
Well, progress has been made but unfortunately I'm away from home since last week (an probably this coming week) without my laptop, and I can't work on it without it! I was hoping to have some kind of longer demo out by the end of the summer since I dont think I'll be able to finish chapter 1.
There's actually a scene in the game where the cloaked stranger removes the cloak to reveal... A second cloak!

Not much point in making something that isn't modular.  Way less effort in the long run...

Unless you just wanted something specific :P As Xifanie said, it's easy enough to just make what you want with all the documentation on the wiki. Emmy doesn't just make formula's for the heck of it, she either uses them for her own purposes or makes them for other people.

Shipping to my location says $23.95 :P

I'd love to because it's so cute except that the shipping is like 4 times the cost of the item :(

no, they're going to surprise us with it not releasing because they're adding cool free stuff to it

This... Might be the most accurate thing you've ever said :P
My favourite thing about that image are the ladders, reminds me of the one in the shop :P But yeah, it's incredibly well done isn't it?

<MasterGrand> np just do it

This might be the best quote ever
As someone who's contributed to the project, I'd say my favourite thing is the dedication of the core team and I don't think that any one of those people would have been able to band together to create something so awesome without Elric. He doesn't get enough credit for his never ending, unwavering dedication to this project.

Anyway! My favourite part of JoT5 as a game is probably the story and the characters. New characters like Leesha and Olivander that weren't part of the original game nor brought over from another world really add to the depth of the narrative, and you can tell the care that went into crafting such interesting characters.
The FFTPatcher can be downloaded on the site, and it works on both PSX and PSP. The ASM hack I'll take a quick look around for and edit this post with the link if I find it, if not, instead of google searching try using the search function on the site!

I never found anything about these changes, so I guess they are impossible to do.

:o I'm surprised you didn't find literally anything on these, there's an ASM hack for the first bit and the FFTPatcher solves the second.

Although the first one becomes trickier with WoTL instead of the PSX version. For reference, anything is possible on the PSX version, the PSP version is extremely limiting in terms of things we know how to do currently.
I think that comes down to personal preference though. Story Patches vs Gameplay Patches (and the awesome ones that combine those elements) are just for different players.
That aside, I implore you to try and learn eventing when you're ready to take your mod to the next level. It's not as hard as you think, and you don't have to do it until you make significant progress otherwise if you don't want to, but it will really make any mod 1000% more attractive for prospective players.
