So I'm following jons character creation tut I'm at step 7 when I reopen the thing in cdmage it always says data track has errors and I only see the battle and dummy file. Do I jus have a bad rip?

expand the iso in Shishi, then open it again in CDMage R5, and select to load it as mode 2

It... doesn't get much more plain than that.

1. Open your ISO in ShiShi Sprite Editor to expand the ISO.
2, Get CDMage version R5
3. Open your ISO.  When prompted to select disk type, choose M/something Mode 2, the second dropdown option.

Unless your ISO is completely fucked you should be able to find whatever you need.

A little investigating went a long way. Seems I need an older version of shishi and a newer version of cdmage

There is no reason at all for you to use an older version of Shishi, none at all. It will only make your job harder. The tutorial you are following is likely very old and no longer accurate

I still need a newer version of cdmage though I can't import files

try cdprog.. it's much more easier to use it than cd mage :p

^ i agree with Taichii, its WAY more easier. I have to use it because every time i used cdmage it only showed 3 folders and i was like thats not right. cdprog is my best friend
