FFT : Legends of mana

What do you guys think? :D
not just the theme songs.. but also
some of the essence of legends of mana + fft :D
where jumi warriors are hunted for their cores :D
anyway. i'll be starting this patch XD any help would be appreciated thank you :D

Must be realy hard since legend of mana didn't have any job and most attacks came from instruments, equips and golems. But if you could manage to do it this wuold turn out to be epic!

this idea made me realize that the zodiac stones are like connected to the celestial stones that are being hunted at the legend of mana game :)))
and as for the jobs..
every job has only 1 available weapon type that they can equip.. haha this is still in the planning process XD
i lost my lolpatch file my bro deleted it accidentaly so i'll start anew with serious a story LOL xD

Nice a beefed up melee only patch! Up to you completely on sprites; if you use mine which you're certainly welcome to, just be careful when recoloring them. Use a magnifying program when doing it.

most certainly boss lijj XD
i used the  wolf sprite for Larc (replaced gafgarion) as a dragon warrior


and here's the fft version :))) (haven't replaced sprites yet)
used shishi sensou's m-asura sprite and changed it's palette..
wolf knight changed palette (a lot of errors on the colors i presume)
agrias will be astrea (a girl from the future)
worker 7 and 8 will be the only golems also from the future brought by time mana XD
simon  = tote (one of the legends of mana wisdoms)
delita = elazul
ovelia = pearl
i wont spoil anything else atm XD

EDIT: I see you do intend to use Elazul and Pearl, plus you posted the spritesheet for Larc (which won't work btw :P) but where are the rest?

Can you actually put custom music into the game?

AFAIK you can, but it's a lot of work that no one really seems to want to do :P

oh sorry bout that larc thingy just posted his image.. anyway.. i dunno why that printscreen save on that spoiler doesnt show the fft sprite...
anyway.. i have used lijj's wolf knight and editted its pallet to somewhat look like larc :D
i have done this with delita too but i have to improve on that though...
anyway...
Pearl = ovelia
Delita = elazul
Larc = gafgarion (wolf k. sprite, changed pallette)
Sierra = meliadoul? (wolf k. sprite w/ chest?)
bud = malak (nomad sprite with purple hair)
lisa = rafa (adelle)
tote = babus :)))

im working on the other characters so far :D
as for the generic skill sets.. they are based on what their jobs equip.. but legends of mana has also elements...
so i decided to add elemental warriors where each of the warriors fight with their mana element.
:D and the jobs w/c reflect L.O.M. is for special units :D

ah alright I see now, very good. So you intend to make use of Salamander, Undine, Gnome, Jinn, Dryad, Luna, Wisp, Shade as well then?

yup bro.. but my prob is how to put their image into the game...
example, i saw somewhere in the forums that they edited a skill, they took out titan and replaced it with a giant chocobo LOL
i understand tile molester did that but tile molester doesnt work in my pc win 7 LOL so i have to stick w/ the normal summons and maybe perhaps...
use them instead XD LELS
and i also added special monsters on the summons.. (well each of the warrior char. can summon one or two elements because of the secondary ability system)
anyway.. ground and nature are considered earth..

salamander = salamander. check
undine = shiva? O_O
drakonis = bahamut >:D
vadise = leviathan? O_O
gnome = sad.. titan and gnome doesnt match :I
jinn = sad also.. jinn and sylph doesn't match :I
dyrad = gnome doesnt match :I
Luna = odin? but doesnt match :I maybe i will replace it into olbonne
Wisp = carbuncle/ moogle? XD
Shade = LICH >:D
Gaeus = Golem
Rachelle = Fairy? xD

You will have to ask one of the people who do animations about that, like Dinosaur or Celdia. Cuz i have no idea

hohoho its okay :))
i'll work on it last after i finish patching XD
im on the special char. skillsets now XD
after this, i will edit the entd while working with the event scripts XD


EDIT: just learned how to manipulate animation on fft patcher wuhahahha
the bounty hunter skill set will be a blast XD
and i want to remove the casting poses and will replace them with weapon strikes...
just edited bahamut a while ago..
the unit punched and then bahamut appeared >:D wuhaha well for you all this isn't new i think but anyway i'll work on this more XD

Part of map name changing is done in Tactext (I think) The part that displays tho before a battle or event starts can be
exported thru Shishi and edited and reinserted, they are very easy.

i cant find the place where i can edit The real map names.. i only found map descriptions in tactext :I
i changed gariland into domina... and when i patched it into the game, i looked at gariland and it was still gariland.. but when i pressed triangle and chose the "move" option it was listed as domina O_O

about the other images tab i also found out about that :D thanks again bro XD
