Cutscene graphical glitch with imported Ramza sprite

Hello everybody!
I hope the title was descriptive enough. :P

Now, on to my question. I imported the Lucavi Follower sprite available in the sprite section of the main page, following every step of Celdia's tutorial (which is amazing). I replaced Ramza's Ch.1, 2 and 4 sprites with the aforementioned sprite, both the WLDFACE and UNIT files were modified.

In game, the sprite works great. There is no problem at all. But whenever Ramza does any action which involves a custom sprite (like taking someone's hand or praying), he reverts back to his normal sprite and his palette goes all crazy. Is it normal? I don't really mind it, but I'd like to know if it's a mistake on my part.

Thanks!

It's just an evtchr bug, nothing to worry about. Basically, events have some frames for sprites that are not included in Shishi, which is why the sprite bugs in an event.

Oh, alright then! I just didn't want to risk encountering any kind of gamebreaking bug/glitch that could mess up my game.

Thanks!

Jon

It won't mess up your game, but because you replaced Ramza, almost every event in the game will have these glitches. The only way to truly fix this is to change the events, way too much work though. My suggestion would be to replace a unit that can be technically in your party but never joins for good, so in other words Olan or Balmafula. Have your custom character appear instead after the tutorial battle at Gariland and replace the first Squire in 188 in ENTD in FFTPatcher. I dunno if Celdia's tutorial covers on how to create a total custom unit or not, but did you change one of the useless names like Fukes or Dish to your own custom character's name? Did you create a new custom job? Did you replace (in your case) Ramza's unit and portraits for the menu screens?
There ain't no gettin' offa this train we on!

Hm, nope. The sprite and portrait both show in game and during the formation screen - I lack the knowledge required to create a completely custom unit/job.  :P
