Getting pSX to work in Ubuntu

Installation notes for Linux
============================

Under Linux pSX requires the following shared libraries/packages :

OpenGL
ALSA
GTK
GTKGLEXT
libxml2

pSX will store its settings in ~/.pSX (the memcards, saves and screenshots
dirctories will also be created here).  If psx.ini is present in the
application directory it will be read from there instead (for backwards
compatibility with verions before v1.13 - you can also move psx.ini here if
you don't want per-user settings, remember to make it world writable though
otherwise users will be unable to save any settings).

I would post this on the pSX emulator board, except that it's dead as fuck and populated by useless douchebags.  Anyways, could someone who can get pSX to run under ubuntu - without using Wine, which is intolerably slow and buggy for me - specifically, what I need to sudo apt-get?

Exactly what you posted.

Also, use the package manager instead of the terminal. It's easier since you won't have to type things in exactly; just search for "opengl" or whatever and check which packages are available, and download whatever looks the most relevant.
