I has me some event compiler/decompiler and has me some FFT Patcher. Any tools needed for ASM hacking? And I already have the basic materials from when I first went at this.
Any tools I'm really missing and will probably need?  :more:

ASM hacking requires a hex editor and decompiler.

Hex editors include HxD and WindHex.  Search Xifanie's FTP at zodiac.ffhacktics.com.
Decompilers include things like psxrel.  Again, Xifanie's FTP has this.

xvi32 is a good hex editor.  Google is your friend.
