I know the PS3's harder to program for than a PC, but 16 euros more per copy? That's ridiculous. Now consider the 360 version is the same price despite the fact it's easier and cheaper to make games for AND it doesn't come with unlock codes for stuff like the PS3 version does.

Why are the console versions a higher price for a worse experience?

Oh, and before you say 'this should be in spam', I'm being serious. I'd like to see if anyone has an answer.

Since it costs more to upgrade or buy a computer to run the higher end games, there are FAR more console gamers than PC gamers.  Since there are many more console gamers without an option to get the PC versions, it makes sense to wring out their pockets instead.

Oh, and of course, piracy on PC. Thanks you elitist pricks for making console owners suffer.

but it comes with two unlocks.  thats worth $15 more a pop, easy.

actually, just looking this up on amazon makes me wonder how in the world your PC version is that cheap overall; it's closing in at 47 PC and 55 PS3/Xbox.

Hell no. The 360 version is the same price and doesn't have the unlock codes, and I fail to see how 2 pieces of ingame equipment are worth 15 euros - then again, it IS DLC, devs new way of nickel-and-diming the consumer.

Does the PS3 still use the PAL system while 360 has finally crossed over and joined the rest of the civilized world?

yes, but are the games themselves still PAL while xbox's are not?  That'd easily explain the price jump.

I think it's the same as it was last gen, some PAL and some NTSC, depending on where it's released, because my TV outputs US content (demos off the US and JP PSN stores) at reduced quality like it did when I tried PS2 games at NTSC 60Hz.

Sorry if this is too off subject, but dude, why the triple post?  It's called the Edit/Modify button, I would understand it on Gamefaqs because of the lack of one, but come on do better than that...

Ah - play must only offer that on PS3 then, but that stuff sure as hell isn't responsible for the leap in price. 2 items of equipment are not worth 15, even by the nickel-and-diming way DLC goes.
