The "generic male/female/monster" sprite sets are sensitive to their respective class set. For an ideal method of modifying enemy/guest sprites under the ENTD, please look into FFHacktics' home page, and look under the documneted Sprite list detailed there. Don't worry about the sprite set registry in the ENTD not having the proper names having blank spaces to label the sprites on them; for some reason, the list in Patcher is sharing the "Name" list in the ENTD as well, but I assure you that they both do very different things.

However, for sprite sets, I believe the list ends at 79. So, ensuring a battle will have a male/female Calculator, Bard, Dancer and/or Mime is not possible unless you swap out a preexisting sprite set for whatever you want in. Anything from 83 and on will be buggy (ex. I made an enemy Assassin unit with 83, I believe is supposed to be the Dancer sprite set, and I get a Funeral sprite from the game's ending as a female Assassin. ).
