ugh when one answer gets answered another one always comes up!

are Calculators pretty hard coded?
i set mine up to be like a blue mage and changed their skill set to learn monster abilities on strike.  It worked and asked me if i wanted to learn said abilities when hit but when i would go to actually use them in battle "Math Skill" is greyed out and unusable even though it says it is learned in the skill set.  Any help appreciated

Did you go to action menus and change Math Skill to default?
