When you replace a character that is involved in an event (like Algus or Ramza), when they make a particular movement they revert back to their original sprite for that movement.

I was wondering how would I go about changing that so that the event sprites do not revert back to the original sprite?

Thanks,

It has to do with the file EVTCHR.BIN, do some looking around on the forum on how to edit it there is a japanese tool to do so easily. Basically these are special frames of animation that aren't part of a normal sprite sheet. So you either need to fix all the custom animations to fit the character you want to replace or rewrite the events not to use these special animations.

Hmmm thanks Cheetah. I'll have to track down this tool. Also thanks so much for telling me which .bin file it was, that was something I really needed to know.

Thanks!

Edit: Could you direct me to where the tool is? I can't seem to find it.
