Since Mercenaries will be released in parts, I think it will be useful if the Title screen would change too.
Or at least, show (by placing text somewhere) which part the player is.

Or.. we can edit the intro splash screens. hehe..

An interesting idea, and very easily done... but wouldn't that be a bit of a burden on the artists though?

Well, we could just add a text and blend it in.
somewhere below the logo, there will be some text like "Chapter 1" or the chapter's title.

Or, we could change the mood of the screen,
change the lightness, etc.
ex., chapter 1, light title screen, chapter 4, darkest title screen.

What else could we do?

Since the Light and dark theme was removed,
I think we could carry this for the title screen..

ch1 = brightest
ch2 = bright
ch3 = dark
ch4 = darkest

haha.. and I really want the ch1 title to be "The Lasting Dawn".

what's the title for ch1 LD? So I can test if I can put it nicely..

The title for Chapter 1 is... "I Want to Break Free", just in the style of Matsuno (and because they're a great band) we've decided to name the four chapters based off of Queen songs.

YUS. You have my complete support on the Queen references. I mean, hot damn they're one of my favorite bands.

Also, I think different title screens would be good. But keep in mind that our current screen focuses heavily on the logo, and less on the background. Unless you intend to change the logo every chapter (which is completely unnecessary), the title screens may all end up looking the same. Whatever, I'm not the artist here; you guys decide.

That's not a bad idea Mike; Light and Dark theme. Well, changing the logo for every chapter may be a bit troublesome. I mean, 4 logos for 4 chapters, hard unless winshmo don't mind and willing to help =D
I have a suggestion; do you think it would be good like for example, chapter 1, show Ramza, Rad and Gafgarion, chapter 2, add whoever joins in (eg: Lavian - I think), then chapter 3, add more or change their position/armor/hairstyle for Ramza, Rad, Gafgarion and etc, then chapter 4, change again.....(which is equivalent to changing logo for every chapter, hahaha)

so I'll just stick with the official one.

Hmm....alright. Then how about changing the positions and views among three of them? Different positions and views for different chapter and the reason for the change of views and positions lies behind the story of each chapter. How's that sound? ^^
I know that's troublesome but if its possible, its worth a shot though ^^

The title screen is looking good Mike ^^
The chapter title not so much. It doesn't look bad, but the letters could be a little wider, as of now they look somehow striped with gray shades. IDK how to explain it accurately..

So you mean LD that Merc. will be released by chapters? I kinda don't like this idea, I will have to wait unkown amount of time to next release.

Indeed you will... this allows me to do A Lot more with the space required, and it is neccessary to accomplish some of my more loftier goals.
