Serious complaint about movies

What is with all the "The Haunting of"s or "The Haunting in"s or even "The Exorcism of"s? Its like the people trying to make horror films got lazy and asked someone to make up a ghost story! None of the crap in it makes any sense, but they call it a true story! I mean really!

Its just the laziest thing in the world, and they exaggerate it with special effects too probably half of those are recycled too... God, I just cant stand it. Come up with an original concept! I bet I could come up with something better!

In fact, I will. I am going to write up the concept for a horror movie. JUST WAIT AND SEE!

Sorry if this seems like I'm flaming horror movies. I almost felt like this belonged in the spam section, but I thought it was a bit too serious to put into the spam section to get its ass raped, like it was in jail.

People want to emulate what they like, or what they think will be a success. This is true for any form of art.

Plus, new concepts can be risky. No company would want to spend a lot of money on what turns out to be a flop.

Most titles these are actually short descriptions rather than proper titles. Sad and pathetic... much like the Street Fighter movies. ^_^
