Concerning the anime Excel Saga:

Quote from: "Wikipedia"The twenty-sixth episode, "Going Too Far", never aired in Excel Saga's original run on TV Tokyo because it was purposefully too violent and obscene for broadcast in Japan.
...too violent and obscene for broadcast in Japan.

Let that sink in.

....it has sunk in.  You forget that government censors half of what the human mind can comprehend in order to stop you from being a free thinker.

It aired in America yet not Japan../. I can't take that at face value, Japan has a lot less censor's then us last I checked.

sadness can be turned to delight.

Love what you're seeing? https://supportus.ffhacktics.com/ 💜 it's really appreciated

Anything is possible as long as it is within the hardware's limits. (ie. disc space, RAM, Video RAM, processor, etc.)

Does it really effect your ability to think freely?  It may effect what you put in your head, but not what comes out.  Free thought is encouraged most of the time as long as it does not impede someone else (well, at least in the United States).

Not really. As far as free TV is concerned, their level of censorship is quite a bit below ours. They do, however, have universal censorship laws, something we do not possess.

Well, the government likes to think that most free thought
impedes someone elses.

*nods sagaciously*

Well, many people do.  Brainwashing is happening more and more often now-a-days.

Sometimes, though, it can be a useful tactic when dealing with people whom need to be changed
