Yo Smash when you get the time could you whip up a Pent portrait?

I have tried but his cloak is tricky.

her bangs are cut strait in the front stopping just about at her eyebrows...

lol.... After Curu arrived i realized there are ppl far better than me at portraits... so im trying to get the best quality possible to go with my sprites XD

Hmm.. I could fill out the requests, but they'd take long. I really don't mind though, practicing never hurts.
However, i'd need precise refs, for best results.

Oh and, I went and made a Sephiroth mug today, since the one on the main site's been itching me alot ever since I came.

Crits are welcome. It even has the same colors as the old Elmdor.

Next up is.. Well, could be Crono or Jenna.

Looks a lot better, the hair line is a little weird though, but definitely better than the old Sephiroth.

looking good, id bring the right bang in closer possibly so much so that it almost covers part of the eye but not quite. that would also make the angle his hair folds at the top sharper which would look better as well. also then youd probably be able to see part of his ear as well... hope thats not too much but it looks way better than the elmdor rip

ohh for that request for my monica sprite ill give u a picture of a similar hairdo.

Like others are saying it is a definite improvement, but it still needs some work. Zozma's suggestion is a good start, but the top and left side of his hair also need a bit of work. The top just seems to low and flat somehow.

I notice the hair line as well. I think he may need a slightly taller forehead? Perhaps the hairline needs to be a little less uneven?

I prefer this to the lazy elmdor variant.
Can't wait to see more stuff from you.

Nowadays, like 90% of my spritework is from scratch. The exception are the FFT styled battle sprites im doing.

Zozma: Head rounded or straight, turned to a specific direction? Facing to the front or side? I can have it finished in a day or two.

I'm jealous, Smash. To be honest I didn't even know how to start from scratch. I like that you post your work from start to finish, very informative for noobs like myself.

Back on topic, did some fixes to Sephy

And Zozma, how do you find this? You may want to work on the lines to your liking now, before I continue.

Imo, by the descripcions you people gave me, it looks alot like zss..
