Yea it took some time but I got it working.

Before playing though I am gonna try to find a translation.

If not I'll wing it and take screen shots.

There is no English translation of this game as it was never released in Europe or North America.
On a side note, the main character happens to be an incredible badass. Think the most cold and inhuman aspects of Squall plus Cloud. This fucker makes you shit bricks with a glance.
Also also, if I remember correctly (I'm too lazy to actually open the game and play through the first few options) I believe your order of choices should be 2-1-(1 or 2)-2-1-1 to start the Ignis route for your screenies. (1 being the top option and proceeding downward to 2 etc.)

Um traust it's called a fan translation patch.

As in a fan translated it from japanese and either put the script online or made a patch for the game to appear in English.

They exist for many japanese only video games.

First to come to mind is FE6 which is one of my favorite gba games.

If it doesn't exist it because the game is long and complicated not because it was never released here.

I think by translation they meant fan translation, like how ff3j was fan translated on the nes. and so was ff5 for SNES. which was only released on the PSX in america/europe.

No that's my fault, I was misleading and rather crude in my explanation. I meant to say that there is no translation at all, i.e. there are no fan translations either that I am aware of.
