The people of this site are close to my heart as we are like a dysfunctional family.

Also too Voldemort, Zozma, Philsov, BastardPoetry, BloodyBlade, gojoe, SentinalBlade, LastingDawn, Vanya, Cheetah, Curu, and even Zodiac we may have our rifts, but I respect you guys more than you could ever know and I will go as far to say I love you as close as siblings, and that you are as close to me as my irl friends even though we will probably never meet.

For the ones who haven't been mentioned that doesn't mean I don't feel the same way and you are all my friends.

Well said, darthpaul. I couldn't agree more, and I too possess much love and respect and admiration for all of you. This is one of the greatest communities, full of some of the brightest, most creative and supportive people I've ever met, and your comparison between the community and a family is justly applied.

In fact, if I had to guess, I'd say the reason you almost pretended to chew Sentinal out has something to do with Zalge's suspension. It is hard to see something like that happen, even if the reason for it is sensible. Zalge quickly became, at least in my perspective, like the little brother of the family. He's this awkward, bumbling, annoying little fuck whose struggles to survive puberty grated on our nerves, but we--in using the word "we" I speak for myself on the assumption that at least one other person here agrees--couldn't help but love the little guy. Mainly because a lot of us can relate to him. We've all been 14 at some point, we've all dealt with the frustrations and desperations of puberty, and there isn't a single person amongst the many I've crossed paths with whom actually enjoyed his or her time in middle school. He regularly asked us for advice--especially on girls, and especially in the vulnerable, public arena of chat--and a lot of us, despite the initial ridicule and mockery, eventual saw his sincerity and offered whatever sagely wisdom we could cough up. Those that didn't, on the other hand, maintained a sort of "tough love" attitude, emphasizing that he needed to face reality and grow up. In fact, the one time I responded negatively to Zalge was in response to the immature way he dealt with some of that "tough love:" my friend Chaumel tried to explain to him that it was unhealthy to obsess over a girl he'd never meet, and Zalge's response was to create a whole topic devoted to chewing him out. He's a kid of extremes, as we witnessed with his "pervy" responses to the lighthearted attention MagiTek gave him. I see this as the main reason Sentinal stood up and called attention to Zalge's inappropriate actions; as the older brothers and sisters, we've formed a community based on creativity, respect and humorous badgering (spam). We are in fact, for the most part, older, with more experience in social settings and we have that sense of how to conduct ourselves in any given situation. Zalge seemed to lack that insight; he didn't realize when he was crossing a line, and Sentinal's actions were a way of saying, "Listen, lil bro, you need to grow up a bit before you can hang out here; we've been as patient as we could be, but enough is enough." Perhaps this suspension will help him realize that.

Anyways, tl;dr Zalge needed to be suspended, either as a sort of tough love or a "reality check" kick in the ass; what's done is done and hopefully he'll return with a better understanding of how to conduct himself here.

My main point is that I agree with darthpaul. This is an outstanding community; we've all made good friends, and those few that come here to troll or act like disrespectful fuckbags are chased off by our strong principles--either they learn from it, they leave forever or they continue spewing prepubescent nonsense at deaf ears. There's a place for that, and it's not here. That'd be 4chan. Granted, I hold many fond memories of 4chan, but I broke myself of that addiction a long time ago, and I like to believe that FFH is a place of refined creativity to counteract 4chan's scattershot method of dispensing creativity like explosive diarrhea (again, I speak of the Spam board here; the old and new memes--those refined gems of comedy--are always welcome here; the racism, sexism, homophobia, gore, vore, loli and pr0ns are NOT.. at least as far as I'm concerned).

I'm rambling. So let me wrap this up with one response I'd like to make to you, darthpaul, regarding this quote:

I disagree.

I must agree with darthpaul and bastardpoetry. This community is probably the best I've been in. Everybody drawn in by a game released 10+ years ago. A very good game though.
