KH sucks..it completely obscured all the epic FF characters and made them gay, aside from that it wasn't bad. But you should NOT be able to beat someone as godly as Sephiroth without someone as almost as godly asd Cloud!

People have hacked the game so you fight Sephiroth alongside Cloud and Tifa xD... besides, YOU don't beat Sephiroth. You merely weaken him, and then Cloud jumps in and fights him... then Sephiroth disappears.

I played KH2 BEFORE KH and I thought the sequel was the best out of it. mainly because it took me an hour to actually get to the first mission in the prequel. the tutorial was so relentless. but we're getting off topic here.[/u]

KH is better action wise because battle start without a frickin' intro.  However, I'd play KH2 Gummi Ship game for hours on end; it's one of the most fun airship combat games in a long time.

I meant the sequel was the better one. you don't really need to play the first one to understand what's going on. all i did was read the manga.

Don't tell him that he needs to play both of them and maybe rechain of memories in case he doesn't like the combat style.
