And of course the Swastika is being confused to mean only a symbol used by the Nazi's... you see, what the symbol actually means is the four seasons, it's the Wheel of the Year. Now, Hitler seemed pretty obsessed with mythology so he made that one of his symbols. Unfortunately now most of it's actual purpose has been forgotten, since people only identify it with that individual.

...But seriously, LD is right.  The Swastika was present in many ancient cultures, including the Greeks and the Egyptians, and a couple others which I forget.

I think Hitler used it for the Japanese meaning of the Swastika.
