Ramza, a sprite change for Mercenaries?

I'm going to go with Version 2 on this one, it just looks better to me, I'm not too great of a sprite critiquer though so... I can't really say much more.

I have recolore Ramza ch4 a bit (don't mention hair, I did it to see how it would look), red hair is quite good on him .

Hmmm....the darkest grey seems to be melting into the sprite poorly. I like the light armor, but I don't think it fits Ramza's current scheme.

And I was under the impression that Ramza's final sprite was going to be custom...

I tried dark armor, but the problem is that clothes(?) in the middle are melting with armor, and it all look VERY messed up.

I know what Kage is talking. There's some black portion at the chest there and at the rear as well.

Well I maked his clothes darker, and tried dark armor, I think something is wrong...

LD said earlier in the thread that he was thinking of "something regal" for the Ch4 Ramza sprite.
I haven't come up with anything yet.

I don't know about the ch4 sprite

it'll need to be amazing and/or suffer some edits to look better than the current ch2 black

It'd have to be original rather than a recolor. But anyways, it'd have to follow the story and as I don't want to spoil myself IDK anything about it XD

I think this fits Ramza Ch4. Its a really looking cool sprite.

The actual sprite itself is just a WotL Dark Knight with Ramza's head. Any ideas about that?
Balbane's sprite has similar armor. Perhaps giving Ramza his father's old armor would be interesting?

Well that pretty much goes against the story of Mercenaries, though the transitioned look is good, I was looking or something a little more tragic to him, notice on Delita, Holy Knight sprite how you can see that the face portrait looks pretty tortured, you can see visible bags under Delita's eyes and an almost depressed facial expression, something more similar to that would be perfect.
