Quote from: "SilvasRuin"He's essentially an edited (red) Blue Mage from FFTA.  If someone does that Blue Mage, it shouldn't be that much more difficult to further modify it to match Llednar.

now that you mention it he does.

Dear god that could become confusing.
Oh pitiful shadow lost in the darkness, bringing torment and pain to others. Oh damned soul wallowing in your sin, perhaps...it is time to die

Llednar is

SPOILERS
All that Mewt wants to be and all that he wishes to become, he is a personification created my Remedi (I think...?) and thus is just a non existent shadow, which is why you can't actually defeat him through normal means

If I recall right.

Well, Technically thats not correct LD. Well, atleast from my understanding he is...

Basically Mewt's dark half, like you said, he is Mewt's desires of what he wants to be which was locked inside his innocent subconcious. Its also for that reason that they game him the fairly retarded name, Llednar Twem. This is obvious its Mewt Randell backwards, therefore being the opposite of Mewt. And yes, it was made by Remedi, the wish granting thingy...

Also, this is funny because it shows that, in one way or another, they ment for Mewt to be an Emo in the way that he basically hates himself... haha, lets all laugh at the emo kid. (sorry, force of habit)

Well, I guess what I'm trying to say, was that he was Mewts dark half, not just his desires of what he wanted to be.

Oh, please go on Zalge. I'd like to hear what your theory is on Llednar if possible.

Ha, its not like I have a whole text document written up on what Llednar is. =P
Also...
It was made clear by Cid and Llednar, that Llednar was only undefeatable because of special laws that forbade him from dieing. He was only defeated because of Cid's Anti-law card, remember? (Which actually begs the question: If you could have gotten the almighty anti-law and fought Llednar before that final fight, and used the almighty anti-law, would that bust his law-shield? Obviously not, because thats not something the game makers would put in, but I would love it if it would. It would end the game a whole lot faster =P)

Hah, wow... I thought it was just because he wasn't there. Well, that makes Mewt even more of a brat "Nyah, nyah you can't beat me, because I have a Law that says you can't!"

You're welcome, Legionofdrake.

So, Marche is good guy while Llednar is bad?

Yes, but Marche is general considered to be a bad character in the way of... well his stats and stuff, while Llednar would be an asset to any party.

That game is a little grey in the good-guy/bad-guy department.
Llednar is definitely not a nice parson at all, though.

True, Marche was...

trying to destroy Mewt's dream world, but for good reason. Not only did he want to go back to the normal world, everyone he knew from the real world was using that world as a way to escape their problems. While everyone was happy, no one would, in a sense, be happy with themselves.

Yeah it was a very odd thing for a final fantasy game...

in that you could really sometimes stop and question Marche's actions. Obviously in the sense you explain Zalge, he was doing the 'right' thing but everybody seemed to happy in that world that it was hard sometimes to agree with Marche entirely! It's not common that you can ever really question whether the acts of the hero are 'just', certainly not in other Final fantasy games. He destroyed an entire world despite the cries of his friends to stop. Unique aspect of that story for sure.
