ok here we go
1.use cd mage to rip the iso from the disc
2.open umdgen and extract the fftpack.bin might be able to do this with cdmage i dunno
3.open fftpatcher
4.extract the files in the fftpack with the psx link next to file in the patcher
5.open shishi
6.open you new .spr and export to bitmap
7.open a sprite from the battle folder of the fftpack
8.import your bitmap *must be equal or smaller than old sprite*
9.save
10.recreate the fftpack with the patcher
11.reinsert into iso with umdgen/cdmage
12.save as new iso
13.done

also for future reference look for tutorials in the hacking patching tool section and to make new menu sprites and pictures look for sentinalblades tutorial on it it is quite good

hope this helped

We should start getting some of the spriting tutorials into the Wiki as well.

The site already has a tutorial section.

Love what you're seeing? https://supportus.ffhacktics.com/ 💜 it's really appreciated

Anything is possible as long as it is within the hardware's limits. (ie. disc space, RAM, Video RAM, processor, etc.)

I wasn't suggesting that we replace the tutorials on the page, I was just saying that it would be helpful to put tutorials that are on the forums there, such as SentinalBlade's.
