Love what you're seeing? https://supportus.ffhacktics.com/ 💜 it's really appreciated

Anything is possible as long as it is within the hardware's limits. (ie. disc space, RAM, Video RAM, processor, etc.)
<R999> My target market is not FFT mod players
<Raijinili> remember that? it was awful

im sorta aiming for the "Deis" look for this character tho its not finished i think ill remove the gloved hands and use the dancer arms.. also i think ill add some green.. what u think?

hmm you know what, my Jenna sprite looks like she'd be great as a "Flame Seer". i think ill use this one as a Water Seer... then make one for wind and earth as well and use them all as one big boss fight mwahaha... then again i might just make them all good sorcerors

yep female archer, i always saw alot of potential in the female archer sprite, for new sprites. its gonna be sweet.

hmm i was gonna change the gloves out for dancer arms.. but i think i prefer the gloves... just maybe green...

she looks nice, but might i suggest 2 things?

the portrait colors are a bit rough, i suggest using an off black color like i did on my lust portrait. and also its best to use copy/ pasted parts of other characters hair and recolor them based on the different shades their hair is.. i say this because portraits are really hard completely from scratch.

the second thing just go back in and change the lightest color of her hair to something else and the sprite looks good :) ohh on the diagonal direction move her boob up like 1 pixel

Mmkay I felt that the portrait looked a little well suckish XD

And the lightest color of her hair in the sprite? or on the portrait bcause if its in the sprite i dont think i can without messing with the skin color if i do it the easy way that is.

k Im gonna leave it as is for now because im happy with it XD mainly because it only my second sprite with any pixel editing all the other have just been pallete swaps. (i wish we could use 24 colors XD)

omg i cant believe how much work it takes creating long hair.... but human version deis, is worth it..

i think im not going to change the gloves to green (for now) because it looks good as is even tho the real deis has green its only on her snake half anyway... plus when i do color reduction i lose only like one color (a skintone combines with one shade from the glove) that practically does no damage to my work at all! this sprites as good as done since the entire arm set is already complete! woohoo

oh also i threw in a sample of what green gloves and boots might look like...
(but it seems to me they would then overpower the color of her dress by just a little bit unless i make it quite a bit darker)

looks way better with the brown gloves. The Green really clashes.

Looks great. I'm not sure about the color of the cloves either way though. It would be cool if you could incorporate that green somewhere though.

I'd say keep the gloves/boots brown, and use the green as a trim either on the dress or the boots/gloves. I have to agree with eeryone about your skill with hair. Its awesome.

you know what, i think the original brown color that the archer's boots had is perfect for both the boots and the gloves... i noticed this last night while i was creating her walking frames.. anyway ill show ya how that looks when i get home.

coming along quite nicely, i have my 16 colors without screwing up the sprite and now i have the option to change the boot/glove color at any time.
mmm black (like celia's dress) might be appropriate for the boot/gloves... but i think enough sprites use black as is....

i was afraid blue wouldn't work for hair but i think this is great (besides i think ill make her a sorceress in my patch).

ugh i know im rambling but this is so incredibly easy since the arms didn't have to be edited! thats like 60% of the work done already.
