Portrait Visual Tutorial?

In order to make it use the row 9 palette, all you have to do is save the palette from the portrait file and load it onto the 9th row on the spritesheet file (before copying the portrait over). That specific tidbit was referring to the fact that you should have the portrait ready in a separate file; the next few instructions guide the person on how to make it work.

Take advantage of that, import the sprite, then you could get the right colored portrait
by PRINT SCREEN.

Or, you could separate the portrait into a new 48x32 image, then set it to 16 colors, then load the row 9 palette.

Okay, that works I just thought there would be something that seemed less jury-rigged.  Thanks, that method works fine.

doesn't my program work for this? only problem AFAIK is that it doesn't rotate the portrait for easier editing.

Anything is possible as long as it is within the hardware's limits. (ie. disc space, RAM, Video RAM, processor, etc.)
