Hey guys, seems weird for me to create a new topic in this section huh? :P

Anyway, for batch converting purposes, I need to have access to the full 256 colors table, but I can't find it anywhere. I googled and stuff without any success. The best I managed was to reset the color table in Imageready, but that only keeps the 16 used colors; which sucks.

I just hope I can use photoshop, else it will be a pain to build a program since I've never coded anything for graphics before.

Love what you're seeing? https://supportus.ffhacktics.com/ 💜 it's really appreciated

Anything is possible as long as it is within the hardware's limits. (ie. disc space, RAM, Video RAM, processor, etc.)

<Raijinili> remember that? it was awful

Well fuck it.

Photoshop can't do shit with palettes, I'll have to write a program to flip them.

What exactly do you mean by THE FULL 256 color table?

I needed photoshop because that's how I process the "demo" sprites on the Custom Sprites section on the site. It would have been extremely convenient to just export as bmp and then have photoshop save a file for every 8 palettes of the portrait and the 8 palettes of the spritesheet; but it can't. So now I won't need portraits anymore as I updated my batch process but I'll have to code a program that creates new files with switched palettes.

Ah. Yeah that's a pretty specialized function. I don't know of any program that does that.
