I see.... That's strange. I only found 4 slots though, including the two I used for the cape. Well, I can certainly add a third color then.

Does it need 16 colors? Can it have less?

Here are the main poses. It's up to 16 colors this time, I believe. The eyes were previously using the lightest shade of green, they now use white, not a big difference, but it was bugging me.

A problem occurs in that it is hard to tell where the helmet begins and the armor begins, so the part above the cape and below the head looks strange. Furthermore, the part is where Izlude's hood is on his sprite, so I don't have a reference as to what to put there.

I was thinking of extending the cape to his neck. Should I do that, or leave it as is?

Also, this has been bugging me since my last sprite... Is it ok for the sprite to be one pixel shorter facing away than he is facing forward? It's like that on the lancer too, but not on Izlude.

sorry it was 13 colors,so 3 spots, plus I deleted alike colors and the result was a total of 4 spots

Actually you can work with up to 15 colors, since the background black count as one color and yes you can have less than 16 colors

PS:I tried to edit my post right after I posted, but my net just bugged like the hell and I couldnt

here is the sprite with its first colors and the colors used

The green may be too light, now that I'm looking at it. Also, the yellow is a bit much--you think you could find a different palette to use there? A little more on the gold side, perhaps. Keep at it.

Keep the yellow or at least keep the cape and straps a different color from the boots. It looks too plain and uninteresting with only 2 tones.

Yeah,I was going to coment about the green, the shades dont fit properly, you need to find better ones, you should keep the lighter green, since the darker one doesnt work nice(I tried),leave the eye light green, wasting one color spot with white thats only used on the eyes.

one more thing, the boots arent looking well, try rework the colors there

As for the gold cape, one of the Treant's leaves/hair color is a nice shade of gold. I'd take a look at it, if I were you. It's actually more brassy than gold, but whatever.

I will look at the treant. I don't see much of a difference with your boots bloodthirster.

Here is my updated concept again, since it was deleted.

I'm not sure about the shade of green I used, anyone have suggestions as to what shade I should use?

I think the colors look fine.
Hmm.. maybe lower the lightness value for all green by 10?

Doesn't look natural anymore. Just stick with the Lancer's green. The yellow cape makes it look quite nice.
