Right because "Drama" is something we want to bring to the forefront, he was banned for subversive activities, Voldemort called him out on it and Zodiac gave him a five day ban, that's all.

It is, he voted against Voldemort in a poll, had an attitude about it, Zodiac banned him for five days, that is all.

I recall that poll, I think.  He made a skewed vote because he just wanted to vote against what Voldemort voted for, regardless of what it was.  The whole thing seems rather silly to me, but maybe there was more going on behind the scenes.
