THATS the kind of portrait to go for, this is kind of a fixed up version of the japanese one for ff7ac....

yeah... it was also kinda fuzzy too, but still, an amazing portrait. I'm in teh process of doing my best to copy the fuzzy thing.

it reminded me so much of the original ff7 artwork for her (which is the  way i like them)

wow u guys mimic that little video portrait pretty well!

Here is my attempt without the hair color change.

The shading is crap, I've never been good at it.
The eye also felt awkward.
I also didn't like the hair as much as I thought I would. I had an earlier version that didnt have the right side of the hair shaded, but... eh. =P

This is what I did.

but u know what, i actually like the idea of her eyes looking in that direction.

somehow i think it looks better for her to be looking to the right like that

Great work on the rear for tifa, Miroshi.
But I think Cheetah is right. The hair is abit too puffy.
Perhaps remove a few pixels of it ^^
Also, nice work on the portrait, Zalge.

Nice portrait Zalge! I completely forgot about the portrait from the video >.<. Though the eye looks kinda funky, like squarish-like. But then again your not done with it so i dont kno what you have planned for it XD...maybe you shoukld add some skin color to her hair, make it shine! lol...and maybe use some more shading for her shirt because it looks like one color....(i myself can never get different shades of white to look different from each other so the shading goes all flat-like)

New Version, I redid the shading a bit, changed the hair color, and... well, this is how it turned out.

Anyone think I should take out the earring? I'm seriously considering it. (either that or using a lighter main color for it, to make it more noticeable.)

i would suggest using the way smash has it looking as far as hair, gotta get that sheen going

That's actually a screenshot I took, just fixed the face a bit.


Anyways, the original has traces of that huge fft-esque dithering style on the hair, making it can be easy if you know what I mean.
