Since you've hacked FFT does that apply to the PSP version as well? In my opinion the script in the war of the lions was butchered so badly i had to stop playing it before the frist chapter even started, and trust me I love this game so much on PS I have played it a bajillion times. If I have the game file could I hack into it and replace the script with the original or close to it if I have add a little?

But...the script in War of the Lions is excellent.

I agree that the script got butchered(except for a few added scenes). But don't get me wrong the story is still good what kills it is how many words they changed from the 1st one. example how come Malak and rafa arent hell night and heaven knight instead they had to make it all friendly and have it be netherseer and skyseer

That was a mistranslation to begin with... the PS1 one was almost a full mistranslation. The only thing I'm sorry about losing in the PSP version is the cool Mighty Sword ability names. Other then that the text is Much more proper. The reason it was so difficult to translate, I am to wager, is because of the very flowery language that was actually meant to be used. The flowery language makes the game feel much more authentic and engrossing, true this may turn off a few others, but I particularly love it.
"Moment's anger can revert to joy,
sadness can be turned to delight.
A nation destroyed cannot be restored,
the dead brought back to life."

To answer the topic question, yes it could be done.

The new script is great. You just have to get used to the style. It is a vastly superior translation.

I felt the same way when I first played, but it was more of a Nostalgia thing.

Calling the Death Corps (Which makes sense) to Corpse Brigade (Which also makes sense, but Death Corps sounds cooler), changing a couple of ability names, like Lightning Stab, and Holy Explosion to Hallowed Bolt and Divine Ruination, kinda irked me.

Overall, it adds a lot. Most of the time I could barely tell where the story was going because of the poor translation of the game. This translation makes the story, much easier to follow, and appreciate.

Quote from: "Caliburn"Divine Ruination.

Wow. Holy Explosion is a pretty dumb name but that is just absolutely terrible.
