Seconded Asmo. This is magitek all over again, only more subtle and not littered with empty threats.

Another observation, if i may. Here on late we have gathered alot of new members due ot the publicity of 1.3. Various constraints keep the senior members from posting "to" immaturely or some such to that manner, but newcomers seem to have no idea what they are really doing when they sign up, and have no knowledge of how an internet community works. A great many a person has signed up and posted only in spam, for god knows what purpose, while very few have actually posted trying to learn something or further our prosperity.

It's True; this isnt a forum for socializing(although we have areas for that), but when speaking to others there is that needed air of dignity. It all goes back to "if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say it all. Or keep it in the fucking spam". The only reason Asmo, Voldemort, or anyone else has retaliated to you in such a manner is because of how you've spoken to them, or how you have worded your sentences.

If you want to troll, why troll a site that actively produces? Go be obnoxious and poorly constative somewhere that wont impede progress. I.E.) Gamefaqs.

Edit: I saw your post Zalge, just wanted to say a few things to you publicly(compliments! ).


It must be hard for you to see another person being treated poorly by the senior members. After taking into consideration seraphim's posts, and comparing them to the posts that got you banned... Well im rather proud.

The banning may have been justified, but you took that time. When you came back things were still a bit odd, but after awhile i got used to you being around again. I didnt see it at first, but you were improving greatly from knowing nothing to actually contributing

You are one of the few exceptions to the new people who sign up. You have actually strived to learn and have contributed somewhat to the site.

Whenever i see someone actually take the knowledge given to them, and actually use it, it makes me feel like alot of what we are doing isnt going ignored.

Its not that im overly proud of what you, although i am(as i am any member that actually strives to better their knowledge), but youve completly turned me picture of you around.

Thanks for proving me wrong, its people like you that actually make a community thrive.

well, considering I'm probably the closing thing(other than you) to being a recluse on the site (my post count proves it, I've had an acount longer than Darthpaul and he has like 50 times the posts), but I still voice my opinions when I see fit, and I thought no one new me untill the other day in chat I was greated by LastingDawn, so even I the current lurker feals very attatched to the community.

also note: over the last year several of my friends have passed away(not to mention Rain4h on arch's behalf), so don't start using that as an excuse.

also also note:a possable reason I feel so connected here is the fact that I live in the middle of nowhere, and I'm home schooled, my closest neighbor is a half a mile away, so I consider these people my friends because of my lack of friend of close(in distance) friends

Yes, yes I did.

All of this was really started with two things...
1) I worded my first post badly! I meant to say something more like "I'm going to look at the boards more and answer your questions later" I had full itention of answering them.
and 2) I react negatively when others say negative things about me, and positively when people say positive things about me. It's really quite simple, and if everyone wants I would not mind starting anew.
And.. once again... I'm not using the hardships in my life as in excuse! I never did! I never will!!

Also, apart from the topic title (which is meme-ish, so it doesn't count), I must say you gave an excellent sense of grammar and spelling, which happen to be rare gifts in internetland. Kudos for that!

Thank you fairly much. I am far less mature than my grammar and spelling though. Also, I spell correctly only due to spellcheck, without it I would be misspelling every other word I type.
