Final Fantasy Hacktics

I was wondering is there are any other hack tools to hack other final fantasies. I mainly ask because I'm looking for a hack tool for FFIX.

There are very few psx games that can easily be hacked.

If you're looking for user friendly, easy to use hacking tools, look for ones for SNES/NES games.

Well, like I said I'm actually looking for a FF9 hack because I'm planning to play that game again. And I wish it was a little bit harder so I asked...

But I can't have it all apparently, oh well

I myself think it would be awesome if we had a utility to hack FFTA, the mechanics of TA would make it a much better base for my dream SaGa Tactics patch, 5 races means that I can perfectly implement Human Male, Human Female, Mutant(Mystic) Male, Mutant Female, and Robot.

hah, having a "mystic" race would be great! (SaGa frontier is my second favorite square game)

I have the Alkaiser music as the ringtone of my phone, its pretty awesome. Anyway, the way I imagine the job distibution would go is that the humans would get all the physical jobs, and two basic magic jobs, the mystics would get extra magic jobs, and thier versions of the human magic jobs would be able to learn the advanced spells of each school, the mystic base job would be, of course, the blue mage (it would just have a different name, and since we're talkig perfect dream patch here, a different sprite). Robots would function off of a heavilly edited Morpher job, where you 'research' items to improve 'programs' that the robots run in battle to determine thier functions and ability.

Well i'm not too sure about IX, but I know someone is working on patching FFVII, to make it harder/include voice overs/ etc.


THey even hired voice actors to play the parts. =\

as far as SaGa frontier is concerned i guess mystics would be like blue mages, however they actually steak the skills instead of learn them by being hit so i guess since u can do that with crystals that screws that idea.

This would be a dream.

I would even completely redo all the shitty sprites with a better look.

I think you would find lots of support for implementing the races into FFT Smash if you were willing to do the sprite work. I know there was another member who wanted to try Moogles.
