Final Fantasy Hacktics

Only criticism is that one of the shades on his face/neck looks kind of yellow-greenish. Dunno if you have any remaining colors; if not, I'd just simplify the shading.

I say it'd be a good generic unit portrait for some job or other. Maybe a re-sprited archer.
Don't think it'd make a good special character, since I immediately want to punch anyone in the face with a hairstyle like that.

well at least that version of vaan looks good, i wish he was dressed that way in the ps2 game

Well, i was trying on how to make the portrait show perfectly on shishi and so. i just use this portrait to try it out ^^
It looks quite nice ^^
And like Zozma said, i would also like to use this portrait but not on any characters ^^

that "green" really isnt that hard to fix anyway,

if a good head were made to match that portrait hairdo, not even the whole body, just the 5 directions of frames id probably use it for a character. its a pretty good portrait, i just wouldnt call him vaan

It's Vaan, from FFTA2, I think. Well of course FF12, but I think the portrait is from his cameo. He is one of my favorite characters from 12 though along with Balthier and ?Peleno?.

Penelo I believe LD. I have to say it is pretty incredible what just adding a shirt does for the character design, I didn't realize that is all they did. I was never a fan of Vaan though in XII, such a bland and underdeveloped character. Though I love all of the character designs in XII and it is by far my favorite mainstream FF. For the record Vaan looks much better in the actual game.

Ahaha. The difference here is one is 3D, the other is not.

It's not too bad. Quite a bit of style clashing, admittedly, but it'd take a very heavy edit to fix that.

What are you basing that off of?  That style looks familiar.

Well....actually i wanted to use ramza2 as a base and tweak it a little bit but then i decide to make a new portrait as i'm not really good at tweaking existing portrait; but judging by the result of this new portrait, i'm not good at custom made portrait either =.=
I'm suck at pc drawing and coloring though =.=
Now, i don't know actually how to make it nicer =.=
I hope that someone could teach how to make it nicer and help me abit ^^
