Okay, so I've been looking at 1.3's use of enemy only jobs and when I tried to do what they did I ended up with something like a monster hybrid even though it (the unit) was flagged as a human. It had the equipment I gave it in the FFT patcher, but I couldn't job change it and when I looked at statuses it said it was a squidlarkan. I used job number 92, by the way. Does this mean I have to scrap a story character's job if I want to add a new (non monster) class to the game that they player gets to use? I saw that you have to use a story character's skillset if you want it to be able to use more than 4 moves, since even when I filled up the selection it still only came with the first four from top to bottom.

Now, what's the deal with the sprite sets? I looked in Shishi but those numbers don't seem to correspond to the ones in the patcher. Does anyone have a list of what sprites are linked to which numbers? For example, 6B, 39, 57. I can compromise on the whole not being able to use the character without glitches in your party thing by just setting the units as guests and having them fight along side you in story battles/randoms but it's really time consuming to make a few ENTD changes, paste the random over all 4 other battles, patch the ISO and then load my save game when someone else might know this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the sprites section there is a list of "Job Sprite Links"

anything past 82(generic monster) is going to glitch unless you use the expanded iso.

Welcome back Goomba, its nice to see you posting outside of spam/1.3 forum again
