Does anyone have a decent amount of D&D knowledge and have a little free time to spare? If not, it's cool, no big deal really.

3.5 or 4.0? because I can basicly recite the entiery of the 3.5 rules, classes, feats, equipment, spells, ect. including pretty much every sourcebook, from memory. And for what I can't recite from memory, I can just look up in the sourcebook itself. 4.0? not so much, since i've yet to have oppertunity to play around with the rules for 4.0

"Yeah.  I can't get you through the cell now."

3.5 is perfect, actually ... I much prefer it anyways. Do you prefer a certain (private) way of chatting?

Shit, all I have is a few miniatures and the miniatures rulebook.
It's all streamlined and shit.
We will build cities in a day, we will build towers to the heavens. We will be heroes.
This sleeping city doesn't know what's coming. She doesn't feel the heat.
Even when the darkness surrounds us, we shall light up the night.

don't worry Vanya, I stated playing with Advanced Dungeons and Dragons (and before that, Advanced Heroquest), 3.5 is my favorite iteration of D&D, though what I game most often lately is actually the Fudge system, because its quicker to set up on the spur-of-the-moment, and easier to teach newbies.

started on the original Dungeons and Dragons, and I've memorized every rule-set until 4.0, I don't like how MMO-ey version 4.0 is, it doesn't feel right for D&D. But actually I'm also working on a tactics conversion, an FFVII conversion, and a Star Ocean Conversion. The FFVII is the farthest along, but mainly it's cause I'm lazy, with the tactics conversion it's mostly done for me, I just have to set up the numbers to be compatible with the monster manual, and DMG. I want my finished version to simply be a new PHB, I don't like how poorly the other editions of the D20 system correlate with the older stuff, so I'm making sure my conversions will fit into the rule-set as is, and therein lies the complication.
