There's not much to comment on. This mod does exactly what it says.

1- Download FFT_PT-BRv1.3 zipped file
2- Extract the file FFT_PT-BR(27.04.25)v1.3.ppf
3- Start PPF-O-Matic3
4- In the first field "ISO FILE" insert the vanilla game file.
5- In the second field "Patch" insert the ppf file.
6- Click Apply. Done!

Hi! Great work, we were really in need of a translated version of this game! I wanted to ask, do you plan to keep the terms closer to the original Japanese, or are you going with the English localization terms? Personally, I'd love it if you went with the first option, like you did with Galfgarion's job, for example.

I also plan to share your work on my channel, so it'd be helpful to know in advance. I usually cover retranslation, relocalization, and censorship removal projects.

The American PS1 + PSP versions are the basis for this translation, kind of a mix of both.

I decided to use the PS1 text over the PSP one most of the time, but sometimes it's just impossible to stick only to the PS1 because certain dialogues sound too odd or childish.
As for Gafgarion's job, it was originally shown as "Cavaleiro Caído" due to technical reasons, not personal choice. The truth is that "Cavaleiro das Trevas" was too long for the text entry, but I managed to fix this by creating a new font character -- a simple 3-pixel space.

Got it, thanks for the response. I did notice some differences in tone in the dialogue. I've also seen some people say there aren't any narrative changes between the versions, but that makes me a bit skeptical, it's pretty rare for a translation to be redone without any changes. On the Fandom site, for example, you can see they changed a conversation between Ramza and Wiegraf Folles about religion and its impact.

I've thought a lot about that. For reasons like this, I decided to keep the dialogues more neutral in case similar topics came up.
