Well, it's definitely not supposed to. Someone did recently report a weird bug regarding losing transparent when screaming, and this is probably related to that.

If I had to guess, this is because when I removed the hard coding on stat alteration formulas, I had them read the information in the previously unused status infliction field. That shouldn't matter, because these abilities don't run the code for status infliction process. But it's quite possible that some other shenanigans are happening along the way.

Crazy question, but what is the hidden skill under Steal EXP for Thief and under Revive for Monk?

Could you include a Text file with the changes to job skills (and weapons possibly?)

It'd be nice if we had a copy of the changes.

New hidden skills are tied to the Depths of Murond, which become available after beating the game. They're a feature from the base The Lion War mod.

I have no intention of including a text file of some specific changes; the changelogs exist as a comprehensive list of changes from patch to patch, starting with what has changed in comparison to The Lion War.

Just started playing this. I loved the new Luso event! Being able to straight up diss Algus is a thing of beauty! lmao

I definitely had fun with it! I never liked him as the main character of Final Fantasy Tactics A2, because he just seemed so irreverent and unaffected by what was going on. But I was inspired by reach the future and how one of its characters is, to quote the creator of the mod, a himbo.

So I decided to lean into that and give him a stronger comedic relief role here, allowing him to play off of Al Gus both to amuse the player and to show a faint glimpse at the latters true depths.

The concept of the battle itself was also one that I really liked getting in the game. Even if I did have to tweak it over and over again until the AI would reliably stop ganging up on the player and making the battle nearly impossible. Setting up specific zodiac compatibility was very helpful in that regard! But once it was all put together, it was great to see and hear about how people react to what they thought was going to be a horrible slog of a battle turn out to be a three-way fight in which most of the enemies keep themselves distracted for several rounds at the start of the battle.

Is it possible to patch the WotL movies in this like in the original TLW?

I just noticed that the descriptions of passives, reactions, and movement abilities when you press Select are jumbled up. The abilities seem to work properly it's just the descriptions are mismatched.

Couldn't begin to tell you what the issue is, but yes, it's isolated to you. Checking the same menu for me gives me the correct result.

I repatched my iso. That seems to have fixed it. Idk what went wrong tho.

Is maintenance supposed to only prevent the katana breaking once?
Not sure if it's just me, but thats what I've been experiencing (or maybe a 50/50 chance). It doesnt show that it broke, but removes it from the inventory so i cant reuse the move if i only had 1.

I've seen people report this occasionally, but I've never been able to reproduce this issue. What emulator are you on?

If I was modding your mod; and I wanted to add a new custom sprite with custom class and all, which bank slot could I alter? Looking at your sprite bank in the shishi editor it looks very clean with no blanks. I was cross referencing your tutorial post on this subject but in the tutorial it follows editing "the lion war". Was just curious if it was possible. Im trying to inject a unique into the game for my buddy. TLW ReMixed is his first time playing a mod version of FFT.

If you check the Patcher, any unnamed jobs in the first 0x30ish slots should be the ones that aren't being used.

so I thought it would be kool to replace Luso with a different sprite and job; thinking that wuud be relative to the custom unique unit/job procedure I was referencing in my other comment, It did not work at all. I guess because it involves an event? Kinda boggles my mind since ive replaces gaffgarions sprite and it works in events.

No, it works fine. He barely has any EVTCHR. And outside of that, there's nothing that would fail to display the proper sprite.

You either changed the wrong game file or didn't load the right one/refresh your existing one in the emulator.

i finally got it to stick. i just started over from scratched with a fresh FFT and patched remix then altered the stuff. from now on i guess if i make big changes ima just start from the ground up every time.

How does transmigrarion work? I'm not noticing stat increases when I level back up after using 35%. Do I need to level down as the job I want to level up in or is it the same as og starts where you level down as bad classes. I probably am not understanding it.
Draw out still breaks katanas with Maintenence but tbh being able to buy them back is really nice.
