Final Fantasy Hacktics

Hey guys. I'm trying to give Archers a varied move set between damaging and utility. But when I try to change say cure4 into a blind arrow attack in the fftpatcher and change the animation to 07 00 00, the animation doesn't go through. It just ends the turn. But when I place the skill in another job move set, the animation and move definitely goes through. Is Archer's skillset hardcoded? If so is here anyway around this?

Edit: Got it to work now. Had to change the Action Menu to Default.
