im altering the mantray spells into elemental sword attacks i got everything working, the animation action damage and all , but for some reason the elemental properties wont go into effect , i keep checking and i have them checked right . is something im doing wrong ?

Holy Sword, Dark Sword formula ignore the Element flagged on the skill and will only work with the equipped weapon's Element because they're bugged and FFT was coded by underpaid monkeys from the local zoo and not actual people.  Look in FFT OrgASM for the Holy Sword/Dark Sword Fix ASM and apply it to your ISO and they should work fine.

is that the same for skills ? cause i have a 8 skills flagged for each element and none of them are working . could it be the formula i use ? Dmg_(PA*(WP+Y)) PE

That is Formula 2D, which we shorthand as the Holy Sword formula around here.  Apply the ASM I mentioned from FFT OrgASM and your skills will work correctly.
