Final Fantasy Hacktics

I have a fully paid for copy of FPse, a retail copy of Final Fantasy Tactics, and, of course, access to this website. I recently heard that some people were playing their copies running with patches that had very similar names to the ones on this site.

Is this true or just rumor mill fodder?

I'm actually playing FFT complete using psxperia, not without it share of graphic bugs due ti patching.  I can imagine patched isos will be able to run on Fpse as well.
